Jim Bob & Michelle Duggar Busy With Josh’s Scandal, Forget A Birthday
Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have been caught up in Josh’s latest scandal. He was arrested for the possession of child pornography earlier this year. For the past few months, Counting On viewers have been following Josh’s case and are eager to see what happens during his trial in November.
But Josh’s scandal seems to be taking up a lot of his parents’ attention. They appear to be so invested in it that they forgot to celebrate a recent birthday.
Jim Bob & Michelle Duggar ‘standing by their son’
A source recently revealed what’s going on with the Duggar family now. The source shared that Jim Bob and Michelle are “very much standing by their son.” Parts of the family are split by his arrest, but it doesn’t look like his parents are.
The source also shared that Jim Bob plans to “sweep things under the rug.”
Josiah Duggar’s birthday ignored by family
Josiah Duggar celebrated his 25th birthday on Saturday, August 28. On his birthday, not one member of the Duggar family shared a post about him. Sometimes, the Duggars will share a belated birthday post a couple of days late. But since his birthday was on Saturday, that post likely would have come by now, if it’s going to happen at all.
It’s possible that the family decided to celebrate in person rather than by sharing a social media post for Josiah’s birthday. As we’ve reported, Josiah and Lauren have been silent on social media for the past 10 months. It’s unclear why they’ve disappeared from Instagram, but they seem to be enjoying their time away.
Because of this, Josiah wouldn’t necessarily see his family’s post unless he happened to get back on social media after 10 months away. So, maybe they thought it wasn’t worth it to share a post he wasn’t going to see.
Jim Bob & Michelle Duggar admit to not knowing birthdays
In a resurfaced interview, Jim Bob and Michelle revealed that they do not know all of their kids’ birthdays. The pair has a cheat sheet they use when going to the doctor’s office. So, perhaps they completely forgot about Josiah’s birthday because of this.
