‘Counting On’ Star Josie Duggar Is Unrecognizable In This New Photo
Counting On star Josie Duggar is growing up quickly! Fans can’t get over how much older she looks in the most recent photo that Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar posted on social media.
Fans will recall that Josie is the 19th kid in the Duggar family. Her birth was documented on the show, as was her hospitalization afterward. She was born via emergency C-section at 25 weeks gestation on December 10, 2009. She was only 1 pound and 6 ounces at birth, leading to a number of complications.
Eight days after her birth, her bowel perforated, and she was rushed to another hospital. Throughout the first six months of life, Josie was in and out of the hospital due to additional complications. She finally came home on June 3, 2010.
For a while, the family and their fans were very concerned, but luckily, the little one was able to pull through, and now she’s a healthy young woman.
Counting On star Josie Duggar is all grown up!
In a new Instagram post on Tuesday, Jim Bob and Michelle shared a snap of their daughter all grown up. Josie is now 11 years old and looks like a healthy, happy young lady.
In the new photo, she’s wearing a yellow dress as she sits outside in the grass holding a cat. The youngest Duggar daughter even has braces now. In the caption, Jim Bob and Michelle wrote, “Days spent outside enjoying the sunshine with four-legged friends are purr-fect! Just ask Josie! 😻💛”
In the comments section of the new post, fans are talking about how amazing it is to see Josie all grown up. Many of them remember watching her birth on TV and praying for the family as Josie spent time in the hospital. One writes, “This is so sweet! I remember praying for this sweet girl when she was first born so early 🥰 so great to see her growing up.”
Another fan adds, “Look how big she is! 😍 I remember when she was born sooooo little. God bless her and all the premature children!” Someone else writes, “I love Josie ❤️! What a sweet young lady she has become!”
Josie will turn 12 years old in just a few months. Fans are looking forward to seeing the family’s birthday post for her and learning more about the young woman she’s becoming.
