WHOA! Rachael Kirkconnell Reveals Matt’s Hidden Talent
Rachael Kirkconnell and Matt James may not have been hiding their relationship. However, it turns out that he has been hiding something. Rachael recently outed Matt James’ hidden talent.
Matt James has officially resumed his relationship with final rose pick Rachael Kirkconnell. While he didn’t propose to the graphic designer, they were very much together as Season 25 wrapped up.
However, during the After the Final Rose special immediately following the finale, Matt revealed that their relationship was done. Never say never – they gave their relationship another try, despite public outcry.
Wait – Why Did Matt and Rachael Break Up?
Matt James’ historic season of The Bachelor kicked off in early January. By February, one of the front-running contestants was the center of a social media storm. In late January, photos circulated of Rachael Kirkconnell attending an antebellum-themed ball a few years earlier. At that point, Reality Steve had already spoiled that Rachael was the ‘winner’ of the season.

Before Rachael could publicly comment on the photos, Bachelor Nation franchise host Chris Harrison spoke up on her behalf. He appeared on Extra and basically said college antics shouldn’t be held against Rachael. His comments didn’t go over well and ultimately led to his exit from the franchise.
Rachael Kirkconnell issued a public apology. However, during the After the Final Rose special, it was revealed that Matt James had broken up with her because of the photos. But a few weeks later, the rumor mill was churning with news of a reconciliation.
The reconciliation was confirmed when they started subtly sharing photos together on their respective Instagram accounts. The split didn’t last long, and they are seemingly stronger than ever.
They Weren’t In Hiding, But Admit to Staying Out of Spotlight
The couple made their first official public appearance as a couple earlier this month at the ESPY awards. TMZ reported the sighting with a headline Matt and Rachael were “out of hiding.” Bachelor executive producer Mike Fleiss shared the article on his Twitter. Matt and Rachael immediately clapped back, saying they were never hiding.
However, during an interview with People magazine at the ESPYs, Rachael admitted that staying out of the spotlight for a bit helped their relationship. If they were hiding, they are entirely out in the open now.
Rachael Kirkconnell Reveals Matt’s Hidden Talent
As anyone who follows Matt James on social media knows, he is very into sports. He often posts videos of himself at skate parks. He’s also an avid runner. The former Bachelor recently played in a basketball game for charity.
However, he has a secret talent that may come as a huge surprise. Rachael shared it on her Instagram Stories earlier this week. Apparently, Matt James is really good at playing guitar. In particular, he’s a ‘pro’ at the video game Guitar Hero.
“Would’ve never guessed he’s a pro at Guitar Hero, but here we are,” she captioned a video of Matt killing it in the video game.
Hot Girl NYC Summer
Based on her Instagram, Rachael Kirkconnell has been spending a lot of time in NYC where Matt lives. She often shares photos of her impromptu street fashion shoots. In one recent snap, she wrote that “summer in the city is no joke.”
