Duggar Family Expected To Ramp Up Announcements Before Josh’s Trial
Since Josh Duggar’s arrest this spring, fans and critics have been closely watching the Duggar family’s behavior. Understandably, much of the family has gone silent on social media or refrained from posting for a short amount of time. Now, however, it looks like they may be trying to share more with fans, as well as catch up on announcements they haven’t made yet. So, what’s going on?
Josh Duggar’s Trial Coming Up Fast
As we’ve reported, Josh was arrested for receiving and possessing child pornography. His trial is on November 30, and he’s facing decades behind bars, as well as fines. The former TLC star has pleaded not guilty and declined multiple plea deals. His family, as well as his wife Anna, are reportedly still supporting him and don’t believe he’s guilty.
Fans and critics are watching this recent scandal closely in hopes of finding out the truth about his case.
Duggar Family Could Make More Announcements Soon, Here’s Why
After Josh’s arrest, much of the family went silent on social media for a little while. Now, however, they appear to be posting more content. Within the past couple of weeks, some big news has come from the family. Jim Bob Duggar announced he’s running for the Arkansas state senate. Also, Jeremiah Duggar announced his courtship after keeping it under wraps for about a year. Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo just revealed that they wrote a book, which is now available for pre-order.
So, there has been lots for fans to talk about right now. Some wonder if these announcements were planned for this specific time to take some attention off of Josh’s trial.
Now, fans and critics are speculating that more announcements are right around the corner. Fans may know that Josh’s wife, Anna, is expecting their seventh child and was due in the fall. At this point, however, the family hasn’t made an announcement. That could come later amid Josh’s trial though.
On Reddit, Duggar Snarks are discussing John-David and Abbie’s recent selfie as they celebrated their anniversary. Some thought it could be a hint that they are expecting.
This prompted a discussion about the possibility of the Duggars making more announcements in the near future to take away from Josh’s trial. Someone writes, “Of course! Didn’t someone mention the other day how November was going to be the month of announcements for the Duggar’s? Anything to distract from Josh’s upcoming court date. It started with the Vuolo’s book, almost a year before it’s release.”
Interestingly, only one Duggar is known to be pregnant, so there could be baby announcements soon too.
