Tayshia Adams Admits Her Romance With Zac Clark Went ‘Through Some Things’ After Show

Tayshia and Zac Clark Mark One-Year Anniversary
Was it fate or just pure luck that Tayshia Adams met her future fiance Zac Clark? The Bachelor Nation alum took over the lead on Season 16 of The Bachelorette after Clare Crawley’s sudden departure. Unlike Clare, Tayshia didn’t find love instantly and quit the show. However, she did ultimately find love with Zac Clark.
Earlier this month, Zac and Tayshia paid tribute to the first bloom of their romance. The couple recently marked 365 days since their first meeting. Though the show didn’t air until October, it was filmed during the summer months.
Why Was Tayshia Adams ‘Crying a Lot’ Lately?
While Zac and Tayshia made it to their one-year anniversary, it wasn’t always an easy road. The duo has been dogged by split rumors. The Bachelorette couple is still going strong, but they hit some bumps along the way.
Tayshia was a recent guest on the The Ben and Ashley I. Almost Famous podcast. She said that the public doesn’t need to know the intimate details about her relationship with Zac. However, she does think it’s fair to let everyone know that “even when two people are heavily in love, you still go through things.”
What ‘things’ did Zac and Tayshia go through?
People magazine reports that distance put a damper on Tayshia and Zac’s relationship. As Bachelor Nation fans know, Tayshia joined Kaitlyn Bristowe in co-hosting Season 17 of The Bachelorette. That meant being away from her fiance for months at a time. Zac did visit her in the New Mexico filming location.
According to Tayshia, it wasn’t just the distance that had her “in my feels.” Seeing Katie Thurston’s suitors question their own relationships with Katie. Tayshia said on the podcast that it put her into Zac’s shoes. Thinking about how stressed Zac must have been during the process is the reason why Tayshia was “crying a lot” the last few months.
As difficult as it was, they seem to have made it through stronger than ever. Tayshia is also co-hosting Season 18 of The Bachelorette.
