What’s New With Jana Duggar & Stephen Wissmann’s Courtship Rumors?
As we previously reported, Jana Duggar was rumored to be courting a man named Stephen Wissmann. This all happened prior to Josh Duggar’s arrest. So, the rumors about the eldest Counting On daughter being in a relationship were buried. Now, fans want to know what’s going on between them and if there’s an update at all.
Has the family shared anything new?
The Duggar family has yet to respond to any of the rumors about Jana and Stephen. They are laying low following Josh’s arrest. So, it’s unlikely they will say anything soon. Some fans are speculating that the family might speak up as a way to distract from Josh’s ongoing legal troubles. Or maybe they are waiting until it all blows over so the focus can be on Jana’s exciting news, rather than her brother’s trial and possible sentencing in July.
The family doesn’t often go public with this kind of news until it’s more official. So, they may be waiting for a proposal if Jana and Stephen are actually dating.
Fans may recall that the two most recent engagements and weddings were kept very private. Justin and Claire Duggar’s relationship wasn’t public for most of their courtship, and they got married at a different date than they originally said they would. This could have been done to deter the media though. Jedidiah Duggar and Katey Nakatsu’s wedding was a total shock, as fans didn’t even know they were courting.
Jana Duggar shares new Instagram post, ignores Stephen Wissmann courtship rumors
Though most of the family has been keeping quiet following Josh’s arrest, Jana did share a new Instagram post recently. Of course, it isn’t very juicy. In the video, she shows fans her garden. Along with the clip, she writes, “Planted my favorites today!! 🥒 It’s been so fun getting my garden up and going this spring!”
Jessa Seewald responds to Jana Duggar & Stephen Wissmann rumors
For a little while, fans wondered if Jana was already engaged. She was sharing posts on social media, but her left hand was always hidden. Some fans thought she may be trying to hide an engagement ring.
As we previously reported, a fan commented on one of Jessa Seewald’s Facebook posts and asked about the rumored courtship. The fan congratulated Jessa on Jana’s engagement. In response, Jessa wrote, “Haha! That’s not true.”
