‘1000-Lb. Sisters’ Season 2 New Episode Isn’t On Tonight & Here’s Why
Monday night is 1000-Lb. Sisters day, and you might be rushing to see the latest new episode of Season 2. If you have a discovery+ subscription, you may have even already tried to watch the next new episode featuring Tammy and Amy Slaton. And, chances are you were a bit disappointed when you realized a new episode of 1000-Lb. Sisters Season 2 had not dropped into discovery+ yet.
After all, we know discovery+ drops new episodes the day they air. And, they do so around 4:30 a.m. EST in the morning the day they air. Unfortunately, that did not happen with 1000-Lb. Sisters. So, you might be wondering why. Where is the new episode of the Slaton sisters? What will happen next to Tammy and Amy?
1000-Lb. Sisters Season 2: New episode is not on tonight, here’s why
Unfortunately, we can confirm a new episode of 1000-Lb. Sisters Season 2 will not air tonight. And, we can definitely tell you why. But, you probably won’t like it. Turns out, Season 2, Episode 10 titled “Do or Die” was the final episode. The Season Finale. So, there won’t be any new episodes airing. Just some reruns. You can, however, watch all ten episodes of Season 2 on discovery+. Unfortunately, Season Finale means Season 2 is over. There will not be any new episodes of this show. In fact, TLC has replaced it with something else in the schedule.
Instead of 1000-Lb. Sisters, you’ll be watching new episodes of Unexpected and Return to Amish tonight.
Wait, will there be a Season 3 of the series?
The next logical question is simple. Will there be a Season 3 of 1000-Lb Sisters? Has TLC decided to renew or cancel the series? Tammy and Chris Combs have both spoken about Season 3 of the series on social media. Tammy mentioned it on TikTok. And, Chris Combs has mentioned it on Facebook. Unfortunately, nothing has been concrete. Tammy made it clear she wasn’t sure if she would do another season of the show. Even if she was offered the opportunity to do so.
Chris Combs was also more or less just responding to fan questions about Season 3. And, his response amounted to little more than there wasn’t anything to tell about another season of the show.
Do fans want more of this series?
The short answer is simple: yes. Fans have asked about Season 3 of 1000-Lb. Sisters since the day the Season Finale aired. Fans want to see baby Gage grow up. They want to see if Amy and Michael have a second baby. And, they want to see if Tammy manages to turn her life around. Will she get the surgery?
