Gold Rush: Parker’s Trail star Tyler Mahoney just got a new tattoo. Posting on her personal Instagram page, Mahoney went topless to show off the stunning tattoo in its entirety. Her blue-ink tattoo is of the Rod of Asclepius. This is a snake wrapped up around a sword. This is the traditional symbol for healing and medicine. The tattoo is perfectly centered in her back, and the handle of the tattoo starts at mid-back and ends up nearly at her waist.
Included alongside the photo was the caption “thanks legends.” Legends is the Perth, Australia tattoo shop who inked her up. She did not share any sort of personal meaning around the tattoo. But, it is clear she thinks it is pretty cool! Astute Gold Rush fans may have even noticed that Tyler Mahoney has gone from blonde to red hair. Nothing like mixing it up for Instagram.

Who Is Tyler Mahoney, Gold Rush Star?
Besides starring on Gold Rush: Parker’s Trail, Tyler Mahoney also stars on Aussie Gold Hunters, in her native Australia. But, Tyler is much, much more. She compares a lot to Parker Schnabel.
According to The Prospectors Club website, Tyler’s family, the Mahoneys, are a fourth-generation gold mining family. The Mahoneys are based out of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. Fans of Parker’s Trail will remember that Kalgoorlie is just northeast of Perth. So, this is a family with a significant gold mining pedigree. Australia had their own gold rush in the late 1800s, similar to what was going on in the states. Ever the entrepreneurs, the Mahoney family launched The Prospectors Club. This is a family business that aims to help other gold miners succeed.
Subsequently, Tyler is the face of the Mahoney gold mining business. Taking after her entreprenurial family, she had ventured off into her own businesses that are not gold-related, but career goals. She has designed her own swimwear line called Mae, by Tyler. Although her business is “closed for now,” you can still check out the ever confident Tyler modeling her designs on her Instagram page. Her designs include a line of handmade, sustainable and bespoke jewelry, made from recycled ocean waste.
Now, Tyler Mahoney’s focus is on gold mining. Her last Mae by Tyler Instagram post was in October, 2019. She let fans know that she was going to be traveling a lot and focused on The Prospectors Club. Of course, this was just before Parker Schnabel and his crew touched down and started filming Gold Rush: Parker’s Trail. Was this the start of a long collaboration?
Will Gold Rush: Parker’s Trail Return To Australia?
Gold Rush fans know that at the end of Parker’s Trail Season 4, Parker Schnabel bought a piece of land in Australia. Will Parker return to Australia for Season 5? Very likely. Despite being cautious about gold mining in the regulation-heavy country, Parker clearly enjoyed the experience. He knows that there is a lot of gold to find and he loves a challenge.
Gold Rush fans will have to wait before they find out whether the young gold miner returns. First, he needs to get through the challenges of gold mining during the Covid-19 era. Gold Rush Season 11 promises challenges like no other!
