‘Counting On’ Fans Beg For Pregnancy Update From Jed & Katey Duggar

As we reported, Jed and Katey announced their pregnancy in September after tying the knot in April. Now, it’s been almost three months since they shared the news and they haven’t posted anything else on social media. A fan took to social media to point out that they haven’t seen anything from the Duggar couple in a while. They wrote, “I wonder why we never heard from Katey and Jed after the pregnancy announcement.”
One fan writes, “They weren’t very active before the announcement/in general so I’m not surprised.” Another adds, “I passed them in Walmart the other day lol Maybe they just aren’t doing anything exciting.”
In the comments section of Jed and Katey’s announcement post, a few fans are asking for an update too. One fan, in particular, wants to know if the couple has found out the baby’s gender yet.
Why might Jed and Katey be keeping quiet on social media?
There are several reasons Jed and Katey might not be posting anything right now. For one, they received a lot of backlash over their pregnancy announcement. In the caption of the post, they wrote, “She tested positive, but not for Covid. 😉” They took quite a bit of heat for this joke, and many fans found it inappropriate. So, this could have driven them away from social media.
Josh Duggar’s child pornography trial is on November 30, and many of the family members have been laying low on social media because of it. It’s possible that they are staying silent to avoid possible comments about Josh.
We’ll have to wait and see when Jed and Katey decide to post again. They might share a gender reveal post or a pregnancy update soon, but for now, they’re keeping quiet. Fans should stay tuned for news from the couple.
