Joy-Anna Forsyth Shares Family’s Thanksgiving Plans Ahead Of Josh Duggar’s Trial
Joy-Anna Forsyth revealed her plans for Thanksgiving Day this year, and it’s safe to say that things will be different this year. The Duggar family has a scandal on their hands and many important events will happen right around the holiday season. So, how will the 19 Kids & Counting family be spending Thanksgiving?
As we’ve reported, Josh Duggar, Jim Bob and Michelle’s eldest son was arrested for receiving and possessing child pornography. He was arrested by the feds in April after a nearly two-year investigation. Now, he’s awaiting his trial, which is slated for November 30.
Since his arrest, the Duggar family has been fairly quiet. However, a source revealed to People that many members of the family are carrying on with their normal lives. As the trial approaches, that could change, though. His trial could end up affecting the family’s holiday get-togethers.
What Is Joy-Anna Forsyth Doing For Thanksgiving?
On her Instagram stories on Thursday, Joy-Anna shared a couple of videos of herself talking. She revealed that she and Austin will be heading to his parents’ home. The topic came up because the Duggar daughter was working out at the gym with a few of the Forsyth family members. She said there will be a handstand competition as part of the Thanksgiving festitivies at the Forsyths’. So, she’s preparing to compete.
While Joy-Anna shared some of her Thanksgiving plans with fans, she didn’t reveal how the Duggars would be spending the holiday this year. This year, the holiday falls on November 25, just five days ahead of Josh’s trial. So, it may be a pretty stressful time for the entire family. It’s possible they are not celebrating the holiday this year, which would explain why Joy-Anna didn’t mention it. Or maybe she just didn’t want to give fans the full rundown.
No matter what, it will be a busy and interesting time of year for the Duggars. Fans and critics are watching closely to see what happens with Josh’s case.
