Joy-Anna Forsyth Shades Parents With Snarky Response
Former Counting On star Joy-Anna Forsyth isn’t holding back! The Duggar daughter is seemingly throwing shade at her parents in response to a fan’s question. While she typically stays neutral and doesn’t publicly say anything negative about Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, that’s not the case this time. So, what did Joy-Anna say, and why was it directed toward her parents?
Duggar Daughter Shares Sweet Gratitude Post
In a new Instagram post on Wednesday, Joy-Anna shared a few photos of herself and her kids, Gideon, 3, and Evelyn, 1, enjoying the fall weather. In her caption, the former TLC star opens up about why she has a thankful attitude. She writes, “G R A T I T U D E. It turns what we have into enough.🍂”
Then, she adds, “It’s hard to believe that I only have 15 more Autumn seasons with Gideon and 17 with Evelyn before they’re grown.🤯 It puts things into perspective and helps me cherish the good and the hard days I have with them.🧡”
Joy-Anna Forsyth Clarifies Her Caption, Shades Parents
In the comments section of her post, a fan asked a question relating to Joy-Anna’s caption. It’s unclear whether the fan meant well and is simply confused, or if they were trying to cause some drama. However, the Duggar daughter didn’t hold back when she answered the question.
A fan wrote, “Married off by 18?” in reference to Joy-Anna having 15 and 17 more autumns with her kids. In response, Joy-Anna wrote, “I said ‘grown’ not ‘married.'”
It’s likely that the fan was thinking about the Duggar family and how many of their kids are married at a young age. Justin Duggar just married his wife Claire Spivey at the age of 18. But it looks like Joy-Anna may be living her life and raising her kids differently than her parents raised her. She may even be bitter about how she was raised, based on the response.
