Jessa Seewald & Jinger Vuolo Stand With Duggar Cousin Amy King
Though they may not see eye-to-eye on every topic, Jinger Vuolo and Jessa Seewald sent Duggar cousin Amy King some support after a recent social media post. 19 Kids & Counting fans may remember Amy, Jim Bob Duggar’s niece. Though she spends time with her cousins sometimes, she’s quite different from them. She dated instead of courted and has always dressed less modestly than her cousins. She’s made it clear that she’s not a Duggar, but of course, many people associate her with them.
Amy is particularly close to one cousin, Jill Dillard, but this time, she got some love and support from two of her other cousins, Jinger and Jessa. Read on to see what they had to say to Amy.
Duggar Cousin Amy King Gets Raw & Real
In a new Instagram post, Amy got honest about her mom bod, showing some skin in a tank top and leggings. The mom to one wrote:
“Forget the term ‘baby weight’ I’m calling it ‘created another human being weight’ and I don’t know about you but it doesn’t just ‘melt off’ . Breastfeeding didn’t help me either because I ate like It was Thanksgiving for almost 2 years. This is just a throwback of me reminding you to be kind to yourself! Your body has been through so much and if the house is disaster that’s ok, if you don’t know the last time you’ve showered that’s ok too.”
She continued, “In this picture my hair looked like a birds nest! I brought in a full length mirror bc @3130clothing was closed bc of covid. I was doing everything I could to stay afloat. I was trying to do a try on session for those workout leggings in the picture but it just clearly wasn’t working that day. I felt like a blob, one big fat whale. and I was hard on myself, I cried, pinched my stomach and just didn’t feel like myself pre-baby. Nothing fit right, and I felt ugly.”
She wrapped up her positive message, writing, “and then I looked up and saw my sweet boy and in that moment my mood changed. And I took this picture. And I’m so glad I did now looking back. Be kind to yourself Mama💛💛our bodies might not be the same now but 2 years later and I’m feeling a little more comfortable with my body and myself.
Jessa Seewald & Jinger Vuolo Send Love & Support Her Way
While several of the Duggars follow Amy on social media, not all of them responded to her new post. Two of her cousins were sure to show some love though. Jinger simply “liked” the post, showing that she’s a fan of Amy’s message. Jessa wrote, “You’re beautiful, Mama!”
The three women can all relate to each other in this way. Amy has a two-year-old son, Daxton. Jinger and her husband Jeremy share Felicity, 3, and Evangeline, 11 months. Jessa and Ben now have four kids, Spurgeon, 6, Henry, 4, Ivy, 2, and Fern, 3 months.
