New details about Josh Duggar’s arrest show that his wife Anna might have known his arrest was imminent and that she may have made preparations ahead of time. Since Josh was arrested for the possession of child pornography earlier this year, new information about the scandal has surfaced. This has given the public a lot of details about what happened, the alleged crimes, and more.
For those who haven’t been following this scandal closely, here’s some background on what’s going on.
So far, Josh has pleaded not guilty. According to sources, his wife believes him, and his parents are supposedly on his side as well. One source even said that Jim Bob Duggar wants to sweep this scandal under the rug. Currently, Josh is staying with a legal guardian, the Reber family. There, Josh must adhere to a set of conditions outlined by the government. The only minors he can be around are his own children with his wife’s supervision. He also can’t have access to the internet. You can see all of the conditions here.
Now, Josh is awaiting his November 30 trial. He had a motion hearing recently, and his wife Anna was spotted for the first time in months. Since Josh was arrested, Anna has gone silent on social media and hasn’t even released a statement about her husband’s alleged crimes.
Recently new details have surfaced, giving additional insight into Anna’s days leading up to her husband’s arrest.
Did Anna Duggar make preparations for Josh’s arrest?
Prior to Josh’s arrest, Anna purchased land and a mobile home, according to The Sun. On April 22, Anna purchased .272 acres of land. She used her LLC, Ravenglass North, to buy the property.
The property records obtained by The Sun show that the property also includes a 1,216 square foot mobile home, which was built in 1987. It has a bathroom and a deck. Surprisingly, Anna paid just $1 for the property.
It’s unclear who Anna bought the property from, but in the past, Jim Bob has sold homes to his kids for as little as a dollar as well.
Prior to Josh’s arrest, Anna, her husband, and their six children lived in a warehouse on the Duggar family’s property. But possibly due to his arrest and the negative attention the family received, Anna may have wanted to relocate. It’s unclear what exactly the purchase has to do with Josh’s arrest. However, it seems like an intentional purchase ahead of Josh’s arrest.
Since her husband was arrested, Anna has been laying low, so she hasn’t revealed where she’s living and whether she moved her six kids to the new mobile home.
