Earlier this year, Kim Kardashian was linked to political commentator Van Jones. Some think she’s using the man to get into criminal law. As fans know, Kim is still trying to pass the bar. She wants to become a lawyer so she can help release free people from prison. While the dating rumors are great for Van’s career, Kim felt the need to set the record straight.

She addressed the dating rumors on the KUWTK Season 21 reunion. “Van texted me and was like, ‘this rumor has gotten me so many dates and I’m grateful, so I owe you,'” Kim told host Andy Cohen. She also opened up about dating Latin singer Maluma. Kim Kardashian said she’s not dating the Colombian singer-songwriter.

“I’m not dating either one. Not Van Jones, not Maluma,” the reality star said. “I’ve seen [Maluma] a few times, always in Miami. Such a nice guy.”

Kim and Van were first spotted together in 2018. They were advocating for criminal justice reform at the White House when Donald J. Trump was the 45th president. Van shared a photo of the two on social media and had a lot of nice things to say about Kim.

In August, Van called the Kim Kardashian dating rumors “absurd.” While he found it “flattering,” he feels that it wasn’t as “flattering” for the Skims founder. Rumors swirled that Kim cheated on Kanye with the CNN commentator. Some thought he was mentoring her to make her law dreams come true.

Maluma talks about their relationship

Maluma revealed that he has no idea where the Kim Kardashian dating rumors came from. In a new interview with L’Officiel Hommes, he admitted that he doesn’t understand why people think he’s dating the KKW Beauty founder.

“I don’t even know! Right? We were at a Dior show. I met her for the first time there,” Maluma said. “I was also with Kourtney [Kardashian].”

He thinks the rumors started when they were spotted in Miami together. At the time, the divorce rumors started. Maluma said that while they’re “good friends,” they’re friendly at a distance. Kim Kardashian and Maluma aren’t dating after all. Meanwhile, her divorce from Kanye is still ongoing.
