Isabel Shares Health Update On Amy Roloff’s Father
In the days leading up to Amy Roloff’s wedding, she revealed that her father might not be able to make the trip. The 92-year-old had been ill for several weeks. However, her dad did get to witness the wedding. He even walked his daughter down the aisle. Isabel Roloff gave insight into the health of Amy Roloff’s father. Keep reading and we’ll explain.
Amy Roloff Visits Father Ahead of Wedding
Amy Roloff is a married woman again! The Little People, Big World star married Chris Marek on August 28, 2021. It is her second marriage. As viewers of the show know, she was married to Matt Roloff for almost 30 years. They divorced in 2016.
Chris Marek proposed to Amy in 2019, but their wedding was delayed due to the pandemic. Fans are now anxiously waiting for Matt Roloff to propose to his girlfriend, Caryn Chandler.
A few months before her late summer wedding, Amy went to Michigan for some quality time with her dad. When it came time to go home, she refused to say “goodbye.” She chose to say “see you later,” instead. And she did see him later.
Despite being in the hospital for two weeks, Gordon Knight summoned the strength to fly to Oregon for his daughter’s wedding. As we earlier reported, Amy walked down the aisle on her dad’s arm.
Tori Roloff Pays Tribute to Zach’s Grandfather, Gordon Knight
It seems Amy’s father has a number of fans in the family. Tori Roloff shared a now-deleted clip on her Instagram Stories of Gordon at the family wedding. Alongside the photo, she called the elderly gentleman a “legend.”
Tori’s sister-in-law, Isabel, shared a similar tribute on her own Instagram Stories. And it included new details about his recent hospital stay. What did Isabel reveal?
Isabel Shares Health Update on Amy’s Father
Isabel co-signed Tori’s praise for Amy’s father. She shared a photo of Gordon flanked by Amy, Jacob, Zach, Tori, Jackson, Lilah, and herself on her Instagram Stories. Underneath the sweet photo, she wrote that Amy’s dad is “an amazing man and human.”
As for his health, she revealed that it was more than a hospital stay. Amy’s father had surgery recently. However, Isabel didn’t elaborate on the reason for the surgery. She did, however, reveal that Amy’s father was NOT about to miss the wedding, no matter what.
Isabel seems to have a soft spot for Jacob’s grandfather, noting that she doesn’t have any living grandfathers herself. In fact, she and Jacob plan to visit Gordon Knight in Michigan.
