Downward Spiral?! TLC Fans Worry Tammy Slaton Might Be Suicidal
Is Tammy Slaton suicidal? Fans of the TLC series 1000-Lb. Sisters worry she might be on a downward spiral. The reality TV personality has had some pretty bizarre — and disturbing — activity on social media lately. And, it has caused fans to fear the worst. What exactly has Tammy been doing that has fans so concerned? Keep reading, we’ll explain.
She disappears from social media
As we previously reported, Tammy Slaton keeps coming and going from social media platforms. She recently changed her Instagram handle before changing it back. Her TikTok account also keeps disappearing and reappearing. Some fans speculate it may actually be the platform itself disabling her account for rule violations. The TLC personality also appears to have disappeared from Twitter as well.
Now, her Instagram activity has been both bizarre and disturbing. As we previously reported, Tammy Slaton posted a truly disturbing set of photos on Instagram last night. The post featured two photos of herself shrouded in a cloud of smoke. While the photos were blurry and dark, it was clear Tammy was smoking. Fans accused her of trying to kill herself as she was recently on oxygen. Some speculate Tammy Slaton is STILL on oxygen. The theory is she takes the oxygen off just long enough to make videos and take photos for social media. This theory came up because Tammy is pretty inconsistent about posting photos and videos with and without the oxygen tubing on TikTok.
Is Tammy Slaton suicidal? Fans are concerned
In her latest Instagram post, one of her followers declared her social media activity was “suicide in progress.” The comment was met with pretty mixed reactions. Some agreed Tammy appeared to be trying to kill herself as of late. Others, however, were appalled someone would post this type of comment on her Instagram posts. The comment, however, was liked a few dozen times indicating there were many others who felt the same way.
Other fans expressed concern because she was “in the dark” in so many of her recent photos.
“Why are you in the dark?” One fan questioned. Another responded she was just “going through a phase.”
Unfortunately, this wouldn’t be the first time Tammy Slaton has struggled with being suicidal. The question is: Are fans reading too much into her social media activity as of late?
