Hunter Montgomery went to Instagram to talk about his time on The Bachelorette. He shared a picture of himself and Katie and talked about what he gained. Hunter has had some time to reflect on his dramatic exit from the show. Montgomery and three other men were sent home at the last rose ceremony with Connor being sent home earlier.
Hunter said it was a miserable couple of weeks and now that fans know he went home, he can talk about it. He said, “it is hard to say that I fully regret the experience.” He lists two reasons for that. The first is getting to know Katie and how she made him feel special. The other great takeaway he had was the relationships he formed with the men in the house.
As is usually the case for the men, the boys bonded hugely. So much so that when Connor Brennan left the house, there were a lot of tears shed. Hunter also shared a bond with several men in the house.
Hunter Montgomery Is Thankful For His Experience
He sang Katie’s praises in the post saying, “Katie ALWAYS fights for what is right, and that is so hard to find these days.” While he has been regarded as the villain by fans Katie stood up for Hunter on her social media. She let her followers know Hunter has Tourette’s syndrome. Katie said, “remember you only get to see a portion of who these men are.”
About his image, he said, “I am hopeful that the people that know me, and have taken the time to get to know me truly understand who I am.” Everyone gets an edit when they are on the show, and Hunter said his character was very much edited to show him as the villain.
Fans Have Been Supportive Of His Journey
Hunter Montgomery received a lot of hate, but also a lot of love from fans. One said, “think you were treated really unfairly, and the show didn’t portray you accurately, especially in the most recent episode.”
Another said, “It takes real strength to rise above the haters.” Several people also love his relationship with Connor B. Another fan said, “You can walk away with nothing to be ashamed of. You’re a class act. You got to have an incredible experience and meet Connor B. so obv worth it.”
The men of The Bachelorette don’t fade into the background after the show is over. It’s possible fans will get to see them again sooner than later, and their social media accounts have gained many followers to keep up with how they’re doing.
