One of Katie Thurston’s contestants on The Bachelorette is getting a lot of fan reaction. Andrew Spencer has captured Katie’s attention and many fans across America. Fans loved Andrew and Katie’s one on one date last week. They obviously have a connection. Will he be the one? Keep reading to find out some things fans should know about Andrew.
Everything fans should know about Andrew Spencer
First of all, Andrew is actually the cousin of a past Bachelorette alum. His cousin is none other than Clay Harbor. That’s just the first interesting piece of information about this cutie hoping to fall in love with Katie. Reality TV World shared some more facts about Andrew.
This 26-year-old is a pro football player. Andrew plays for Europe’s premier American football team the Dacia Vienna Vikings. He spends half of his time in Vienna Austria playing football. The rest of his time is spent in the Chicago area. Andrew is originally from Lake Villa, Illinois. When he’s not playing football he’s coaching it and also works as a teacher’s assistant.
He sounds pretty good so far but throw in that he considers himself to be romantic and he just got better. Andrew isn’t afraid to make a huge gesture in the name of love.
He can’t wait to be a dad
Andrew didn’t have much of a father growing up. His dad went to prison when he was six. Andrew was raised by his mother. So, since he lacked having a father growing up he wants to be sure he is there for his own kids. Plus, he wants a big family of his own. Andrew actually hopes to someday have five children.
Nobody knows for sure if Andrew did or did not find love with Katie just yet. However, he did fall in love once before. Andrew reportedly almost proposed to someone in his past. He didn’t because she brought up concerns about having mixed children because she was white and he is black. Andrew did defend his ex saying she was not racist or anything but having people potentially look at her children differently bothered her.
She wasn’t the one and if Katie’s not either there is no doubt Andrew will find his love someday.
Other interesting facts
Andrew was of course an athlete in college. He received his degree from Winona State University in 2018. He also gained recognition for playing football while in college. A few of Andrew’s accomplishments are getting named 2017 AFCA First Team All-American, 2017 NSIC Defensive Player of the Year, and 2017-2018 Winona State Male Athlete of the Year.
Katie has admitted she’s very attracted to Andrew and the feeling seems mutual.
