The Waldrops Have A New Family Member
The Sweet Home Sextuplets family has grown! On Thursday, the Waldrops added a new member to their family. Courtney Waldrop shared a photo on social media to talk about the newest addition.
Who’s a new member of the Sweet Home Sextuplets family?
On Instagram, Courtney shared a photo of Eric and Bridge standing in front of the door. They are in their jackets and boots and are soaking wet. Courtney wrote a lengthy caption, explaining how their family has grown. She writes:
“Even in the middle of this horrible weather we have had here in Alabama today…it doesn’t stop a momma cow from having a calf and when she’s having trouble you go out in the absolute poring rain and help pull it out before they both die. Bridge wanted to go help. They both came back in soaking wet. Momma cow is good but baby cow is struggling… so long night for Eric as he tries to hang on to this little calf.”
Because the weather was so bad, Courtney didn’t get to go out and take a photo of the calf.
As Courtney mentioned, the baby calf wasn’t doing so well, so Eric had to take care of it overnight. In a comment, one fan says they hope the calf is okay. Courtney reports back that the calf made it. The vet previously said that the calf only had a 20% chance of living. Courtney wrote, “Eric didn’t think it would make it. He was more afraid it was going to drown in the monsoon of water we had last night 🥴. But he went back this morning and it’s feeding on it’s momma!!🙌”
Waldrops get lots of love from fans
Fans of the family are excited to hear about the new addition, and they’re proud of Bridge for pitching in to help. One fan calls him a “little cattle rancher.” All of the family’s fans think that Eric and Courtney have done a great job of raising all their little Waldrops.
Fans hope to see a photo of the baby calf soon, especially now that they know that it survived. Since revealing that the calf lived, Courtney hasn’t shared another update.
