In When Calls The Heart Season 8, Episode 2, Elizabeth finally gets back to work, Rosemary gets a lesson and Fiona learns that building a business isn’t what it is cracked up to be.

Elizabeth Moves On In When Calls The Heart Season 8, Episode 2

According to Parade, there are changes about in Hope Valley and When Calls The Heart Season 8, Episode 2 holds some changes that will help each character grow. This starts out with Elizabeth (Erin Krakow), who was late with her chapters.

But, her tough editor, Helen Bouchard (Teryl Rothery) keeps Elizabeth on her toes, as she edits Elizabeth’s very first manuscript. Can Elizabeth live up to the high standards that Lucas Bouchard’s (Chris McNally) mother has set up for her? Also, will Helen somehow influence Elizabeth’s decision on who she is picking in the Elizabeth/Lucas/Nathan love triangle?

Fiona Learns About Business In When Calls The Heart Season 8, Episode 2

Elizabeth is not the only one learning a few lessons now. Turns out, Fiona (Kayla Wallace) has had some hiccups in growing her new barbershop. How does she get the Hope Valley gentlemen to come in for a cut and a shave?

In this upcoming episode of When Calls The Heart, Fiona tries to get out of her comfort zone and make a success of her new venture.

Words Of ‘Comfort’ In When Calls The Heart Season 8, Episode 2

Lastly, Rosemary (Pascale Hutton) gets some words of wisdom from a newcomer. Now, she has an opportunity to “reflect” on what is next in life. Can it be about her wish to start a family?

Well, she may not be thinking too long about this, as Lee (Kavan Smith) gets injured! Is he ok?

Hearties, Welcome The Canfields To Hope Valley

A new family, the Canfields, have moved to Hope Valley! In When Calls The Heart Season 8, Episode 2, we meet Joseph Canfield, played by Viv Leacock.

Eventually, Hearties will also meet “strong, fiercely protective mother” Minnie, played by Natasha Burnett. Minnie is concerned about their daughter, Angela, who is visually impaired. They also have a son, Cooper.

Both of the Canfield children are played by Viv Leacock’s real-life children, Vienna and Elias.

Although in this season, we are not seeing many classroom scenes, due to Covid, this storyline will certainly focus on Elizabeth’s main job, that of a school teacher. Mrs. Thornton doesn’t want Angela to be so confined. She believes that the older Canfield child needs to be with kids her own age.

Can she convince Minnie to trust her to watch over Angela? In the upcoming episodes, Hearties will learn how Elizabeth fares with Minnie.
