Bates Family Wishes Son-In-Law Bobby Smith A Happy Birthday
On Tuesday, February 16, Bobby Smith celebrated his birthday! Bobby is a member of the Bringing Up Bates family, so his parents-in-law shared a very special message for him. Of course, fans took a moment to wish him a happy birthday too.
Who is Bobby Smith?
Bobby is one of Kelly Jo and Gil Bates’ sons-in-law. Bobby is married to Tori Bates. They currently share two young sons, Kade and Kolter. Soon, a baby girl will join the family. The couple recently announced they’re expecting their third child, and she will arrive this summer.
He turned 26 years old on the 16th of February. He’s the oldest of three kids.
In 2017, Bobby graduated from Pensacola Christian College with a bachelor’s degree in Bible and youth ministry. He was a youth pastor at the Bible Baptist Church for under a year beginning in 2018. This is the same church the Gil Bates preaches at.
In 2019, he started working for the Plumbing Authority. Later, in 2020, he joined his brother-in-law Kelton Balka at Tennessee Standard.
On social media, Tori and Bobby share an account. They sometimes share updates on Instagram, but they aren’t too active there.
Bates family & fans celebrate Bobby’s birthday
On Instagram, the Bates family wrote a long, heartfelt message to their son-in-law. It looks like the account is run by mom Kelly Jo Bates. So, the message was likely written by her too.
In the post, she includes a photo of her son-in-law with his two sons. The photo looks like it was taken during the family’s recent photoshoot.
In the birthday message, Kelly Jo writes:
“To see you with Tori & little Kade and Kolter is such a special sight, and I’m grateful beyond measure for you and your precious family! Thank you for the example you are to all of us! ❤️”
