What Is Lifetime’s Christmas On The Menu About?
According to TVLine, 35-year-old Josie Jennings (Shaw) is headed back home for the holidays. Known to be a romantic, Josie plans to chill at her mom’s “quaint, magical” bed and breakfast. This is where Jose grew up with her mom, Shannon (Gibb).
Moreover, Shannon has just opened up a new restaurant. Funny thing, Josie just so happens to be a chef. This all sounds perfect, that is until food critic Tanner Rhodes (James) comes to town.
Josie and Tanner have a history. Tanner has had a history of giving some harsh reviews. Now, he is in town to check out her Christmas Cuisine. Josie is obsessed and is second guessing what she is doing and what Tanner will say.
However, as it is the holidays, there is quite a lot of fun times. Josie and Tanner stop looking at each other as adversaries. They even start to fall for each other.
But, will Tanner write a fair review keep up the integrity of his personal brand, or will he make sure that Josie gets the stellar review? The former adheres to his standards, while the latter will keep this relationship going strong.
