Hallmark Christmas movie fans, are you ready to see some sparks fly and a lot of witty dialogue this Christmas? Then Never Kiss A Man In A Christmas Sweater is your 2020 Countdown to Christmas jam. Starring Ashley Williams (How I Met Your Mother) and Niall Matter (Aurora Teagarden Mysteries), expect to see some sparks fly.

What do we know about this upcoming Hallmark movie?

What Is Hallmark’s Never Kiss A Man In A Christmas Sweater About?

According to the Hallmark press release, Never Kiss A Man In A Christmas Sweater is about single mom Maggie O’Donnell (Williams). She is not looking so forward to this Christmas, as her daughter, Ellen (Kayden Magnuson, Chesapeake Shores) is spending it with her dad. That means Maggie is alone for the first time at Christmas.

But, things kinda take a turn, when Maggie, at the Christmas tree lot, literally crashes Lucas Cavelli (Matter). His freak Christmas accident crushes his Aspen ski trip. So, he is forced to stay in town.

Trying to make amends, Maggie offers up her guest house. She figures this is the least she can do since she spoiled his Christmas. Besides, Maggie excels at caregiving. She is just not that good at taking care of herself.

Lucas is at his own crossroads. He is a successful architect, but he is burnt out. Despite doing what he loved, he has lost his passion. The unlikely pair find comfort, friendship and, as this is a Hallmark Christmas movie, romance.

But, could a gross misunderstanding keep the couple from realizing they are meant to be? Never Kiss A Man In A Christmas Sweater is based on the book by Debbie Johnson.

Will There Be Two Williams Sisters Christmas movies In 2020?

Although Hallmark has managed to achieve the impossible by creating 40 brand new Christmas movies during a worldwide pandemic, the long-promised dual Williams sisters Christmas movie, Christmas At The Madison, Part 1 & Part 2, are on hold one more year.

For the past couple of years, the two sisters have been planning the dual movies. This is something new to Hallmark. In one movie, one of the sisters is the lead and the other sister is in a supporting capacity. Then, in the second Hallmark Christmas movie, the roles are reversed. Hopefully, Christmas movie fans will get to see this in 2021.

Meanwhile, fans can expect to see a cameo of Ashley Williams and the infamous red truck in the upcoming Christmas In Evergreen 4: Bells Are Ringing. This will premiere on December 5, at 8 p.m. Eastern, on the Hallmark Channel.

You can see Kimberly Williams-Paisley in A Nashville Christmas Carol. This premieres on Saturday, November 21 at 8 p.m. Eastern. Always check Hallmark in case of any schedule changes.
