Does Matt Roloff Wish TLC Would Cancel ‘LPBW’?
Season 21 of Little People, Big World is underway and many fans can’t help but ask: cancelled or renewed? Will we see a Season 22? Or, will TLC finally pull the plug and cancel LPBW?
There are a few factors that go into answering this question.
The biggest factor with the question of cancelled or renewed is simple. Does TLC want to move forward with Season 22 of LPBW? The network will usually make this decision based on ratings. How much did the series cost the network vs how much the network made while airing Season 21. If the series is profitable with good ratings… There is really no reason not to renew for Season 22.
The second biggest factor is the cast. Are there enough members of the Roloff family interested in another season of LPBW? Truth be told, it doesn’t matter if the network wants to move forward if the family doesn’t. This is, of course, unless there is some sort of bigger contract in play that prevents them from backing out.
Some fans aren’t sure if Matt Roloff wants TLC to renew TLC.
A recent Instagram post by Matt Roloff suggests he may be growing tired of being a part of the franchise. Is he ready for a little privacy in his life?
On October 6th, Matt Roloff took to Instagram. He wanted to discuss how pumpkin season was going despite the pandemic throwing a wrench in the usual plans.
We had a really good opening weekend. The family all made appearances out here. … We all had a good time. It was really good. We got great feedback. It was very safe, from what we hear.”
Matt Roloff started to read some of the comments popping up on Instagram during his video. Several of them mentioned LPBW. That was when he realized the show was currently airing.

“There are people from Norway and Canada saying hi and loving the show. Oh yeah, shoot, the show’s on tonight! Yeah, that’s another thing. I usually jump under the bed and hide on Tuesday nights.” Matt jested.
Now, LPBW fans couldn’t tell if he was just being funny. Or, perhaps, was it possible Matt Roloff was just over being a reality TV show star? Did he hope TLC would cancel LPBW?
At the very least, fans would like Zach and Tori Roloff to take over LPBW.
Instead of TLC cancelling LPBW, fans could probably get behind Zach and Tori Roloff taking over as the stars of the show. Fans (and Matt) already want Zach and Tori to take over Roloff Farms. Viewers of the show have expressed being exhausted with following Matt and Amy bicker at each other.
