Kate Chastain reacts to Tom Checketts and it’s hilarious
The Below Deck alum was brutally honest when it came to her reaction of new chef Tom Checketts on Below Deck Mediterranean. On Twitter, she shared a clip of herself watching the latest episode. Kate poured herself a glass of champagne as she watched Tom’s meltdown in the galley. She shook her head and said under her breath, “Tom’s a little b****.”
On Monday, August 24, Kate shared the short clip of her reaction, writing, “Candid reaction.” Tom is the new chef on the superyacht. He had a meltdown over his first dinner service. The guests complained that the seafood he served was raw.

He also complained about having to sing “Happy Birthday” for a guest. His girlfriend, bosun Malia White, begged him to join the crew. “I’ll go up but I’m not carrying it,” Tom said, referring to the cake he made three hours prior to the dinner service. He added, “I hate this s***. This is when you become the circus monkey.” As he arrived on deck, the crew sang to the guests as he awkwardly smiled.

I’m getting a lot of tweets asking my opinion re: this season of #BelowDeckMed and I’m sorry…im just not comfortable discussing something I wasn’t there for on social media.
I prefer televised full episode commentary. Of the most dramatic episodes. Airing in September pic.twitter.com/8aslydWIx0

However, Kate already weighed in on Hannah’s departure. She feels that Hannah’s work ethic led to her firing.
“On yachts, you can get fired for your personality if people don’t like you,” Kate explained on Another Below Deck podcast. “It’s happened to me, hard to believe, I know it was in the early years.”
