‘Teen Mom 2’ Are Jenelle Evans and David Eason Still On the Mend?

Jenelle Evans with David Eason

It seems that Teen Mom 2’s Jenelle Evans can’t catch a break. Media outlets are all abuzz this week following her husband, David Eason’s, arrest. The Sun reports that Eason was arrested last weekend after he “assaulted [Evans’] friend”.

What we know about the alleged fight

The alleged victim of the fight is Jenelle’s friend, James Spivey. Spivey tells The Sun, “She’s claiming she’s with relatives, but it’s the opposite. She’s staying at the property. They’re back together.”

Friends and family of the Teen Mom alum are concerned that she or the kids may be in danger. Spivey also says, “I feel like something bad is going to happen. Someone is going to get hurt on that property.”

According to the arrest warrant obtained by The Sun, Eason did, “unlawfully and willfully assault” [the alleged victim] with a deadly weapon, a Springfield handgun, by hitting the [alleged victim] in the back of the neck and on his back with the handgun.”

Additionally, the warrant allegedly claims that Eason went onto “unlawfully and willfully threaten to physically injure the person.” Sources report that Spivey was with Evans at her home so that she could pick up her things.

Subsequently, there are reports that after his release, Eason filed counterclaims against Spivey. Once again, in a summons obtained by The Sun, Eason claims Spivey “did assault David Martin Eason with a deadly weapon, a homemade forged coat rack, by pushing the victim and by striking the victim in the left arm with a coat rack made of wood and forged metal (railroad spikes.)”

Ultimately, it is up to the court to decide the validity of each party’s claim.

How is Evans handling it?

Understandably so, Jenelle Evans announced on social media that she is leaving David Eason. Unfortunately, this is not the first time Evans she’s left him. Evans previously alleges 11 incidents of abuse that resulted in a restraining order. Eventually, she dropped the restraining order and returned to the North Carolina property after a brief stay in Nashville, Tennessee with Kaiser, 5, and Ensley, 3.

In further reassurance to her fans, Evans took to Facebook. She wrote, “I just want to let the public, tabloids, and my fans know that I’M OK, I’M SAFE AND SO ARE THE KIDS!” She seems to sign off of social media by thanking her fans and letting them know that she is going to take a few days to herself.

Sadly, while Evans claims that the kids were not hurt, sources close to the family alleges that they are witnesses to the assault. Sources claim that Ensley, Kaiser, and Maryssa, 12, were present at the time of the altercation. An insider tells The Sun, ‘“The kids witnessed the altercation, they were crying.”  Sources close to the family are worried about the children and mention that Child Protective Services need to get involved.

What about the children?

On that note, fans may remember that CPS was previously involved with Evans/Eason in 2019. Multiple reports allege that in April 2019 Eason confessed to killing the family dog for “nipping at Ensley“. Ultimately, this action results in the Teen Mom 2 removing Evans from filming in May 2019. Consequently, after a series of court hearings, the children were returned in July 2019.

Is Jenelle Evans with David Eason?

While leaving Eason may seem like the appropriate thing to do given the tumultuous nature of their relationship, there is photographic evidence to the contrary circulating on the internet.

Just a few days after his arrest, the couple is seen walking their puppy near their home in North Carolina. Throughout their time at the park, photographs depict them talking closely. At one point, Evans has her arms around Eason’s waist.

Unfortunately, only time will tell if Jenelle Evans will remain with David Eason. Keep it tuned to TV Show Ace for more Teen Mom and other reality television news.
