Why is Nick Jonas leaving The Voice?

At this time, Nick Jonas has not released a statement about the new judge lineup for The Voice. However, there is speculation that he may not want to leave. Newsweek brings to light the timeline of Gwen Stefani’s commitments. Stefani did not judge in Season 18 because she had her Las Vegas residency.  Additionally, due to the coronavirus, her Just a Girl concert ended two days before The Voice began. However, this is the same day that Jonas’ tour with the Jonas Brothers wrapped up too.

Newsweek also mentions that The Jonas Brothers may be aligning their schedules to have their own Las Vegas residency whenever concerts resume. Sadly, due to coronavirus, the trio canceled their Vegas residency in April. However, there have been no announcements regarding their rescheduled concert dates.
