‘VPR:’ Scheana Shay Feels Kristen Doute Got Too Much Hate During Virtual Reunion
Scheana Shay feels that Kristen Doute got too much unwanted hate during the Vanderpump Rules virtual reunion. While the men on the show get a pass, the women are always in the wrong. Kristen was never forgiven for hooking up with Jax Taylor.
Kristen wanted to rely on the support of her friends. But Stassi Schroeder and Katie Maloney-Schwartz didn’t want to deal with her drama with Brian Carter. Instead, they dropped her from their Witches of WeHo group. Kristen was even ganged up on during the VPR Season 8 virtual reunion. Scheana Shay defended her friend and had a lot to say.
Scheana Shay feels Kristen Doute “got a lot of s***” at the reunion
Per Reality Tea, Scheana Shay is defending her friend. Kristen Doute is probably happy to have a friend. Us Weekly reported that Scheana defend Kristen on the recent episode of her “Shenanigans” podcast. She revealed that the James Mae designer was mistreated throughout the season.
It was revealed that Kristen slept Max after Season 8 ended. Stassi was flabbergasted since Dayna Kathan and Kristen were good friends. Scheana didn’t agree, though. She feel that her situation with Max didn’t affect her friendship with Kristen.
“Are [Kristen] and Dayna [Kathan] … were they friendly? Of course! We’re all friendly with her … but it’s like, they were never super close,” Scheana explained. “I dated him longer than her and although hers is more fresh, I am completely unbothered by this.”

This comes after Scheana defended Kristen for hooking up with Max. During the podcast, the “Good as Gold” singer said that the reunion was a bad experience for Kristen.
“The reunion was not good for her. She got a lot of s*** that I don’t think she deserved,” Scheana continued. “She was a single girl last year. Max was a single guy last year.”
Scheana revealed that the pair hooked up not once, but twice. On the Tuesday, June 2 reunion episode, Pump Rules fans found out that Max and Kristen hooked up last fall. Stassi accused the 37-year-old of “pretending” to be with friends with Dayna to get to Max. Dayna and Max dated during the season.
Kristen and Scheana weren’t always this close
The reality stars are good friends these days. However, Kristen Doute and Scheana Shay weren’t always this close, per The Blast. The “One More Time” singer revealed why Kirsten didn’t like at the start of the Bravo series. Last month, she appeared on the “Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef” podcast. Scheana reflected on the first season, which aired in January 2013.
As fans remember, Kristen and Tom Sandoval dated for years before the show started. Although Scheana and Kristen are close these days, Scheana admitted that Kristen didn’t like her because she thought she liked Tom.

“Kristen didn’t like me because she thought I liked Tom,” Scheana explained. “And then Kristen was best friends with Stassi [Schroeder] and Katie [Maloney-Schwartz]. And they’re with Jax [Taylor] and [Tom] Schwartz. It just naturally came together very easily.”
Scheana also revealed that Lisa Vanderpump’s role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills helped paved the way for Vanderpump Rules. However, that could change. Bravo fired both Kristen Doute and Stassi Schroeder, among others, for their racist comments. In addition, fans are calling for a cancellation of the series. Times sure have changed.
