Derick Dillard Breaks Instagram Silence With Martin Luther King Jr. Tribute
It was a few weeks ago that Derick Dillard spilled a significant amount of juicy tea on Instagram. In fact, it resulted in many Duggar fans begging Derick to consider writing a tell-all book. Counting On fans have assumed for a period of time now Derick would eventually be the member of the Duggar family to write one.
It was three weeks ago, on Christmas, when Derick Dillard last posted on Instagram.
Jill Duggar’s husband took to Instagram to wish their followers and fans a “merry little Christmas.” It was in the comments of the post, however, that things seemed to get a little heated.
While we extensively covered all of the tea Derick spilled about the family on Instagram nearly a month ago, most of the chatter has since been buried by more recent comments.
In fact, we recently reported Derick confirmed he was working on a tell-all book. There, however, is no information to suggestion when the tell-all book might be available for people to read. According to Dillard, it was a process that would “take time.”
After three weeks, he finally updated his Instagram with a fresh post.
As most people know, today was Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. After three weeks of nothing, Derick Dillard took to Instagram to pay tribute to the holiday. Notably, many of his followers would have considered this post fitting. After all, the last time he updated his profile was also for a holiday.

“Thankful for the work of Dr. King and the sacrifices he made for equality. Let’s continue to work toward his vision,” Derick penned in the caption of his tribute to Dr. King Jr.
His tribute included a black and white snapshot of Martin Luther King Jr. with one of his many inspirational quotes. Derick Dillard’s followers liked the comment over 2,000 times. They also left a little over 60 comments.
His followers were here for his uplifting post.
For the most part, the most recent and most liked comments at the top of his post were positive. They indicated the post as well-received. Many noted Derick had a “great idea.”

“Absolutely..He made such a difference in our country,” one follower penned in the comments.
A second chimed in: “I agree Derick. Thank you so much for posting this. We all have the dream.”
“Thank you for the acknowledgement and inspiration. It means a lot to me and my family,” a third added.
While Derick Dillard is known to respond to the comments of his Instagram posts, he does not appear to have dropped into the comments of this post anywhere.
