Hallmark’s ‘Love In Winterland’: Everything You Need To Know
Hallmark is venturing into their own version of The Bachelor with their latest Winterfest movie, Love In Winterland. This reality show love triangle includes Chad Michael Murray (One Tree Hill), Italia Ricci (Designated Survivor) and Jack Turner (Legends Of Tomorrow), and promises a lot of romantic, wintery activities. The one question is who will our conflicted heroine choose?
What Is Love In Winterland About?
Ally (Ricci) is a marketing executive, now living in Los Angeles. She has been competing for the affections of dreamy bachelor Tanner (Turner), on a dating reality show. Now, she is a finalist and the two are going on a very special date. According to the Hallmark preview, the show producers choose to send the couple to her picturesque hometown, where winter is celebrated.
What better place for this reality show to jack up the ratings than to go to Winterland, Vermont? Winterland specializes in winter activities because they have such a long winter. There is snowshoeing, Tobogganing and getting cozy by the fire pit. The town enjoys playing up their magical setting with festive, bright lights that twinkle in the snow. Winterland is one romantic little place!
Of course, everyone knows everyone else in town, and Ally certainly remembers Brett (Murray), the owner of the historic inn where the cast and crew of the reality show are all staying. The two had a past together, as they were high school sweethearts. The attraction is obvious to all, especially the show’s producer. The producer cleverly strokes the flames of a love triangle, making Ally start to second guess what she really wants.
This a fun and romantic Hallmark movie. There is a lot of great chemistry, and loads of snow and wintery fun.

Love In Winterland premiered on Saturday, Jan. 11 at 9 p.m. Eastern time on the Hallmark Channel. Encore showings include Jan. 12 at 6 p.m., Jan. 15 at 10 p.m., Jan. 18 at 7:00 p.m, Jan. 26 at 5:00 p.m., and Jan. 28 at 2 p.m., all times Eastern. Always check listings in case of a schedule change.
