Hallmark’s ‘Winter In Vail’: Everything You Need To Know
On Saturday, Hallmark transitions from Christmas to…winter! Winter In Vail, starring Lacey Chabert and Tyler Hynes kicks off Winterfest. This means cross country skiing, hot chocolate and a winter romance. What is this new winter romance about and how can you watch it?
What Is Winter In Vail About?
Los Angeles-based event planner Chelsea Whitmore (Chabert) is at a crossroads in her life. She is not terribly thrilled with her job. Chelsea feels she has lost out on a deserved promotion and is looking for a change. Yet, she isn’t sure what is next. She surprisingly and serendipitously inherits a chalet in the historic town of Vail, Colorado. This was from an uncle that she had not heard or seen from in years. Chelsea sees this as a sign, so she packs up her car and moves to Vail.
There, she meets Owen Backer (Hynes) and he chivalrously takes her around town. Chelsea falls in love with the beauty of her new town. There are small stands everywhere in this walkabout small town. It is enchanting! The hot chocolate stands are especially enticing. In Vail, they take their hot chocolate to the next level! She goes out skiing and skating and is suprised by the heritage of the historic skiing village. Chelsea has fallen in love.
As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Chelsea discovers “Old Vail.” This is the Bavarian heritage of the historic alpine village. According to the Denver Post, Hallmark fans will see some of the historic Vail sites. This includes the skating rink, bell tower and the Children’s Fountain, right in front of Lancelot.
Winter In Vail is a warm and romantic movie that promises to transition Hallmark fans from the Christmas spirit, to cozy, winter traditions. Vail is the romantic destination, but the chemistry between Owen and Chelsea is warm and romantic. Will this romance change Chelsea’s life?
