‘Sister Wives’ Film New Season, Plus Flagstaff Property Taxes Get Added Interest
Sister Wives’ next season looks pretty certain as members of the family were spotted with camera crews. So, if you’re hungry to find out about the property purchases in Flagstaff and progress on their homes, maybe a conclusion comes to fans of the TLC show. In the meantime, it looks like Kody Brown could really use the income from a new season as the interest on unpaid Flagstaff property rose yet again.
Sister Wives film in Chicago for new season
The Chicago-Tribune reported that “Janelle, Christine, Meri, and Robyn Brown — visited Meri’s 23-year-old daughter, Mariah, and her fiancee, Audrey Kriss, over Memorial Day weekend.” The film crew was spotted with them. Plus, on her Instagram, Mariah posted up about how they love their camera team. So, it’s no longer a big secret about a new season.
Fans of the show want a conclusion to the property the Browns purchased in Flagstaff in the last season. Hopefully, the new season of Sister Wives covers that as fans are curious. After all, we saw Kody Brown proposing one giant home with separate apartments for each sister wife. Mind you, we may not see that happen, as Radar Online reported that no development’s taken place on the land.

House sales, financial hardship and unpaid taxes for the Brown family
Radar Online‘s always updating on the status of the homes and property belonging to the Sister Wives family. Plus, they ferreted out the fact that the family owes money on unpaid property tax. They suspect financial hardship arose as the Las Vegas homes sold slowly. In fact, Christine’s yet to get a buyer for her home. The three homes that sold required price slashing to interest buyers. So, they lost some anticipated income there.
The latest Radar news about property taxes is that more interest just got added. They reported on June 12, “The Coconino County Treasurer’s Office confirmed to Radar that Kody, Robyn, and Christine failed to pay taxes in the amount of $2,063.70 on their parcel of land, which was due on December 31, 2018.” Now the new figures from Radar show that interest went up again and “as of June 12, they owe $2,201.28 after interest was added to the amount.”

More bad news on the tax front in Flagstaff
It seems the bad news about unpaid taxes hits at Kody Brown’s pocket. That’s because the amount owning mentioned above is just one tax due. The second one due relates to property registered to Kody Boran, Janelle, and Meri. That piece of land was taxed at $1,990.82 in December. But, payment never happened. So, added interest took it up. Now, Radar‘s sleuthing reveals they owe $2,123.54. That makes the total owed $4,324.82.
Fans of Sister Wives get a bit snarky hearing about unpaid taxes. In fact, during the last season, several of them made remarks on Twitter about them not paying their taxes. Hopefully, the new season brings in an income so they can clear the amount owed.

I don’t know why this show was renewed – since no one really wants to see Kody in all his narcissistic glory! He is living off the backs of these women and as long as the cameras are on him then everything is right in his world. His insistence on moving to Flagstaff has still not been adequately explained. It’s as if someone or some trouble he got into was pushing him to move everyone. No plan and no income. Get rid of this show already – TLC has much better shows to watch that make a lot more sense.

I agree, Carole, no new scenes at all. Kody is trying to be Mr. Big and he is a nothing. He said once that he was a consultant. Does he have a degree in anything? What qualifies him to be anything. Kody only loves Kody. I say can the show too.

Thanks Susan. Kody is a lazy ass slob who loves only himself. To watch Christine fawn over him and cling to him is so nauseating. The other wives appear to be not to be dependent on him, although I can’t imagine what purpose he could possibly serve except to father all those children. I was hoping that this show had been canceled and I wonder what kind of deal Kody offered this time to stay on the air. After all he doesn’t bring anything to the communal table except his begging TLC for another season at a reduced rate.
I feel like I know them and they have become friends although I have never met them.
