Derick Dillard’s Voice Against Jim Bob Duggar Gets Louder
As we’ve reported many times, Derick Dillard is continuing to speak negatively of his father-in-law, Jim Bob Duggar. The two have not been on good terms for a while now. Amid Jim Bob’s Arkansas State Senate run, Derick has been calling him out and questioning his decision.
Derick even went so far as to sign a petition to get Jim Bob off the ballot. He shared a comment on the petition, mentioning how Jim Bob is dishonest. Now, Derick is using his platform to continue raising awareness of the things that his father-in-law has said and done. He’s taking a bold stance, and fans are applauding him for it. So, what is Derick saying now?
Jim Bob Duggar is put on blast by his old friend, Jim Holt.
Fans of the Duggar family may be familiar with the Holts. Bobye Holt testified in Josh Duggar’s trial last week, and she is married to Jim Holt. Though the Duggars and Holts used to be close, they don’t seem to be anymore.
On Facebook, Jim shared a new post about the election. In his post, he shares his thoughts about Jim Bob. He called Jim Bob out for lying to him and for lying under oath during his son’s trial. Jim Bob was asked to testify in Josh’s trial and did so in the evidentiary hearing. However, he claimed to have forgotten the details of Josh confessing to molesting his sisters.
In Jim’s post, he references these prior events, writing, “I can say this, and it hurts me to say: Jim Bob Duggar lied to me about the truth of his son when asking to court our daughter. It was clear he perjured himself on the witness stand at the evidentiary hearing on November 29, 2021. He said that Mrs. Bobye was a past Elder at our church in the time frame of 2003-2006. Up until November 2006, the church never had women Elders. EVER. (I don’t know what his church does now…)”
Then, he adds, “The problem I have is…If he lied to his BEST FRIEND and he lied UNDER OATH, will he lie to YOU?”
Derick Dillard speaks out once again.
In response to Jim’s new post calling out Jim Bob’s dishonesty, Derick chimed in. He had a lot to say about Jim Bob’s character and pointed out that “this isn’t an isolated incident.” While Derick wanted to “give him the benefit of the doubt,” he quickly learned.
In his comment, Derick continues, “It’s only become clearer to us over time just how deep this man’s manipulation and deceit will go for his own gain at the expense of others.”
Derick ends his bold statement with a question. He asks, “Again, if he has lied and continues to lie to his best friends and his own family, will he LIE to YOU?!”
