Jesse Metcalfe Stars With Jessica Lowndes In ‘Harmony From The Heart’
Jesse Metcalfe is now heading to GAC Media, starring with Jessica Lowndes in a new original movie. What do we know about their upcoming new movie?
Jesse Metcalfe, Jessica Lowndes In Valentine’s Weekend Movie
On Wednesday, GAC Family announced in a press release sent to TV Shows Ace, that Jessica Lowndes (Mix Up In The Mediterranean, Angel Falls Christmas) and Jesse Metcalfe (Chesapeake Shores, Desperate Housewives) will star in a new original movie called Harmony From The Heart.
Moreover, The 90210 alum also is the executive producer of the movie. Jessica wrote the screenplay for this movie. In addition, she wrote and performs “several” of the original songs that are performed in the movie.
There is no information on whether Metcalfe, who is also a musician and singer, will accompany Lowndes in the upcoming movie.
Michael Robison is directing Harmony From The Heart. He most recently directed An Unexpected Christmas, and A Christmas Treasure. Both were have already aired on Hallmark, as part of their Countdown to Christmas.
Unlike Trevor Donovan or Danica McKellar, it does not appear that neither Metcalfe nor Lowndes have signed exclusive deals with GAC.
What Is GAC’s Harmony From The Heart About?
In GAC Family’s Harmony From The Heart Violet (Lowndes) has a shot at her dream job as a music therapist at a local hospital.
There is one obstacle: Violet’s department chair Professor Carver threatens to prevent her from graduating unless she successfully rehabilitates a patient to speak again by Valentine’s Day. That is just two weeks away.
The patient is the professor’s beloved brother, Charles. Another hurdle is strong, stubborn skepticism about music therapy held by the man’s doctor, Blake Williams (Metcalfe), a local heart surgeon and, more importantly, Charles’ grandson.
Feeling the pressure to create a near miracle, Violet uses music to traverse the mile markers of Charles’ life, and he begins to progress. Violet and Blake realize each of them loves helping people, as their own hearts begin to open again.
Jessica Lowndes Is Excited To Star In New Movie with Jesse Metcalfe
The multi-talented Jessica Lowndes announced on her Instagram that she is starring alongside Jesse Metcalfe in Harmony From The Heart.
She wrote, “Secret’s out! Metcalfe has not commented on this new movie. However, he and Lowndes have an acting partner in common. Jesse is starring with Chad Michael Murray and Bruce Willis in Emmett/Furla Films’ Fortress trilogy.
Lowndes has starred alongside the One Tree Hill star in two GAC movies. Besides Angel Falls Christmas, the two also kicked off the GAC Family’s original movies with An Autumn Romance.
