Duggar Cousin Amy King, Aunt Deanna Speak Out As Josh’s Trial Begins
Since Josh Duggar was arrested this spring, his cousin, Amy King, has been sharing cryptic messages that appear to be directed toward him. However, she hasn’t specifically said they’re about him. For one, she has hinted that Anna Duggar, Josh’s wife, needs to pack her bags and leave. She has shared messages in support of child abuse victims and much more.
Amy recently opened up about being lied to for years. Again, she didn’t say any of her family members’ names, but it’s safe to assume that’s what this is all about.
For those who may not know, Josh was arrested for receiving and possessing child sexual abuse material or child pornography. His trial began on Tuesday, November 30, and he’s facing up to 20 years in jail and hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines.
Now, some of his family members are seemingly speaking out against him.
Amy King and Deanna Duggar share their hopes for justice.
On their Instagram stories on Tuesday morning, both Amy and her mom, Deanna Duggar, posted messages about justice. For those who don’t know, Deanna is Jim Bob Duggar’s sister. Both Amy and Deanna have been on the family’s shows in the past, so many fans follow them on social media.
Amy’s post reads, “Vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord, I will repay thee. Please pray for the victims, and for the truth to be revealed. Pray that the judge will give the ultimate sentence.”
Deanna shared a similar message, writing, “Justice will be served. We are believing for it.”
Though these posts are both vague and don’t name any names, fans are guessing that they have something to do with Josh’s trial. After all, they were posted right around the time the trial began. It would be hard to believe that they would be about anything else during this time. Even though Amy and Deanna don’t appear to be super close with their famous family anymore, they are still connected to them in some ways. So, they may have thought it was important to use their voices today.
