Hallmark’s Countdown To Christmas 2021 includes the long-awaited sequel to The Nine Lives Of Christmas, The Nine Kittens Of Christmas.

Starring in this highly anticipated movie is Brandon Routh (Superman Returns, The Flash), Kimberley Sustad (Christmas By Starlight, Travelers), Gregory Harrison (Chesapeake Shores, General Hospital), Stephanie Bennett (The Romeo Section, Shadowhunters), and Victoria Dunsmore (The Last Porno Show, Batwoman).

What Is Hallmark’s The Nine Kittens Of Christmas About?

According to the Hallmark synopsis, single and now a firehouse Captain, Zachary (Routh) is planning his usual Christmas ski trip away. However, when Chief Sam (Harrison) and his daughter, Gabi (Dunsmore) convince him to stay, he ends up running into Marilee (Sustad).

Now a successful veterinarian and co-owner of a busy clinic in Miami, Dr. Marilee White has returned home to Oregon for the first time in five years. She is there to spend the holidays with her sister Jaclyn (Bennett) and her family.

Zachary discovers a box with nine adorable kittens left at the fire station. Moreover, Mariliee steps up to help, and soon the pair team up to host a series of adopt-a-thons at the town’s Christmas events.

As the two reminisce while getting into the holiday spirit, they find that their connection is undeniably still there. With career opportunities once again pulling them in different directions, will they embrace this second chance at love before the last kitten is adopted?

The premiere of Hallmark’s The Nine Kittens Of Christmas is on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 25, at 8 p.m. Eastern. Will Hallmark Air The Nine Lives Of Christmas?

Fans who may not have seen, or want to see again, the original movie, Hallmark’s The Nine Lives Of Christmas, are in luck. The network is airing this classic 2014 movie several times. Watch it on Thursday, November 25, at 5:59 p.m., Monday, December 6, at 4:01 p.m., Saturday, December 18, at 10:01 p.m., and Friday, December 24, at 4 p.m., all times Eastern.

If you want to watch the two movies back-to-back, then you will need to watch them on Thanksgiving, November 25.
