Katie Thurston Speaks Out For First Time Since Blake Moynes Split
Former Bachelorette Katie Thurston is going through heartbreak. She and her fiance Blake Moynes announced their decision to split earlier this week. The two have been fairly quiet since making their announcement. However, today, Wednesday, Katie has shared two new things to Instagram. What did she share and have to say to fans?
Katie Thurston breaks silence following Blake Moynes split
Breakups are never easy. No doubt being in the public eye makes it worse. Katie Thurston appears to be navigating life without Blake Moynes. Nobody knows the details of their split. However, it seems she is hurting and trying to adjust.
Today, Katie went to Instagram this morning to share a photo of a dog. She said, “Dexter forcing me out the house this morning.” Those who know Katie know that she doesn’t have a dog. So, who’s dog is it? That would be her pal John Hersey.
That’s not all Katie had to say. This evening she went to Instagram again to share more thoughts. Katie has always made it clear her one love is Tommy her cat. So, in a video tonight she shared a clip of her walking closer to where Tommy sat on a chair.
The song playing in the video is rather sad. Katie captioned the video saying, “Thank you to everyone who has shown their love and support.” She continued, You can either spend every day convincing yourself everything is fine. Or you can accept what is and learn and grow from it.”
Katie went on to say, “And remember. You don’t own anyone anything. Life is too short. Surround your personal universe with joy.”
Their relationship, what went wrong?
Many fans believed Katie and Blake were perfect for each other. However, their joint statement indicates that they came to the conclusion that they are not compatible life partners. This shocking news came after Blake had just returned from Africa and Katie had just done her first stand-up comedy act.
Sources revealed that Katie is strong and won’t give up on love. They even said she hopes for marriage in the future. Unfortunately, it appears it won’t be with Blake. Perhaps one day they will share exactly what went wrong.
It appears to many that distance became an issue for them. Katie wanted more time with her man. Blake living in Canada and she in San Diego made that difficult.
