Katie Thurston Still Hoping For Love Following Blake Moynes Split
It was a shocking announcement not many saw coming. Former Bachelorette and fiance Blake Moynes announced Monday they were calling it quits. It seems the long-distance relationship became too much for them to sort out. After just two months out in public following their finale airing, they are giving up on their relationship. Now, both are single but are they ready to mingle?

US Weekly shared what is next for Katie Thurston. Fans believed Katie and Blake Moynes would be one of the lucky couples to make things work between them. Everyone was wrong. Sadly, they called it off sooner than anyone ever could have imagined. Since she’s single again, what’s next for The Bachelorette?
A source close to Katie said she’s not giving up on love. In fact, they said she still hopes to find love and get married one day. The source said, “Katie’s really an open and honest person. She knows what she wants. I’m sure she won’t have trouble moving on — she’s been through heartbreak before.”
The insider also said that Blake and Katie left one another on good terms. They said both of them definitely tried to make things work out.
Ultimately, the distance between them became too much. The source also noted, “Katie really missed Blake once he left and they would get into little arguments, but at the end of the day, Katie wished he would be with her more.” They continued, “She’s super supportive of his work — that’s one of the reasons why she fell in love with him was because of how caring he is. Once the distance became a reality though, it was too difficult for her to deal with.”

Blake and Katie announced their split Monday. Katie reportedly went to Canada over the weekend to see him. This trip was following her debut stand-up comedy act. Plus, Blake had just returned from Africa a few days prior.
Katie and Blake released a joint statement that each of them shared on Instagram. Their post announced they are not compatible as life partners and decided to move forward apart.
Many think Katie was hinting at her upcoming split when she recently spoke out about their relationship. She noted they were figuring things out. In fact, she said at times they were winging it.
