Former Little People, Big World couple Jacob and Isabel Roloff has had enough of the accusations surrounding their decision to keep their son’s photos private. The pair recently revealed that they won’t be sharing photos of their son online because they want to respect his privacy. Also, he won’t be able to consent to having his pictures shared online for a long time. So, they’re not posting photos of his face when he arrives this winter.

However, after sharing about this on social media, Jacob and Isabel got some backlash from fans. The two aren’t on TLC’s Little People, Big World, but they still get a lot of attention on social media. After all, they are connected to the rest of the Roloff family.

Because Tori and Zach Roloff, as well as Audrey and Jeremy, share their kids’ photos online, fans may have assumed the same would be true of Isabel and Jacob. After Isabel and Jacob received some questions and concerns about their decision, she decided to post a lengthy explanation online, hoping to clear things up for fans.

According to Isabel’s Instagram stories, it looks like some fans think this has something to do with money. The mom-to-be writes, “It’s mind blowing to me that people don’t see in our position why we’d want to protect our son in this way. Or even worse, they accuse us of only doing this for attention or ‘wait until the money comes knocking’ as if our decision could change for the right price.”

It’s possible that Jacob and Isabel will be offered deals with news outlets to share photos of their son. However, it seems like they are adamantly against this.

Isabel Roloff Share Her Perspective

In a series of Instagram stories, Isabel gave more insight into her decision. She explained that she and Jacob only discussed their decision after fans starting saying they can’t wait to “see” the baby. It looks like Isabel and Jacob will be posting pictures of their son that don’t show his face. This isn’t uncommon for celebrities. Even fellow TLC stars Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo have made this choice.

She also addressed the fact that she and Jacob have shared photos of their nieces and nephews in the past despite not wanting to share photos of their own son. She says they are learning and growing, and their feelings are changing.
