Friday Night Smackdown delivered their go-home show before the WWE Crown Jewel PPV next Thursday afternoon. In the main event, Becky Lynch will take on Sasha Banks in a non-title match. The tag titles will be on the line in a street fight between The Usos and The Street Profits. The King of the Ring and Queen’s Crown tournaments both continue with semi-final action. Here are 5 Must-See Moments from WWE Smackdown.

WWE Smackdown: 5 Must-See Moments

King of the Ring semi-finals
In the semi-final of the Smackdown side of the King of the Ring, Finn Balor squared off with Sami Zayn. As expected, both men went at it hard for a chance to reach the finals in Saudi Arabia. Due to his outspoken political feelings about Saudi Arabia, it was no surprise to see Zayn take the loss. In the end, Balor hit multiple shotgun dropkicks before getting the win with the Coup de Grace.

Queen’s Crown keeps rolling
In the semi-finals of the WWE Smackdown side of the Queen’s Crown, Zelina Vega was matched up with Carmella. The match was clunky as expected and didn’t do much to keep interest. Vega was able to get the win with a quick small package pinfall.

Final Battle

Tag Title Street Fight
In recent months, The Usos and The Street Profits have delivered quality tag team action on the blue brand of Friday Night Smackdown. With the Street Profits recently getting drafted to WWE Raw, it was likely the last time we would see the two teams collide in some time. As expected, the match was balls to the wall with all four men leaving it all on the line. In the end, Dawkins eats two superkicks from the Usos before taking the pin after a top rope splash.

Former Champs Collide
In the main event, Becky Lynch clashed with Sasha Banks in a non-title match just 6 days from Crown Jewel. At the Saudi Arabia event, both women will be in a triple threat match along with Bianca Belair for the Smackdown Women’s Title. In a surprising turn of events, Banks actually got the win over the champion after a Backstabber.

Brock Lesnar drops a bombshell
To close out WWE Smackdown, a contract signing was set up in the middle of the ring. Roman Reigns made his way out with Paul Heyman, followed by Brock Lesnar. Lesnar seemed uninterested in reading the contract and decided to put pen to paper anyway. After Roman questioned why he didn’t even look over the paper, Lesnar laughed and said he already did earlier in the day…with Heyman by his side.
