Danielle Busby & Courtney Waldrop Bond: School Mornings With Big Families
Danielle Busby of OutDaughtered and Courtney Waldrop of Sweet Home Sextuplets have a lot in common. The two moms likely bond over the difficult job of managing so many little ones. Danielle Busby is the mother of six children and Courtney Waldrop is the mother of nine. Danielle has five that are five years old. And, Courtney has six that are three years old.
As those who follow both Danielle and Courtney on Instagram know, both large families are officially back in school. Danielle Busby shared an Instagram post discussing the struggles of getting ready for school in the morning. To put it in perspective for fans at home, think about how much time you must allow in the morning to get one or two children ready for school. Now, imagine having to multiple that by the five or six little ones you have to get ready at the same time.
In response to the OutDaughtered mother’s post, the Sweet Home Sextuplets mother admits she relates to what Danielle had to say deeply.
Danielle Busby and Courtney Waldrop agree there’s never enough time
Danielle Busby took to Instagram to share a car selfie of all six of her girls returning to school. This was a very special year as it would be the only year Blayke goes to the same school with her sisters. The OutDaughtered mom proceeded to explain that she got up pretty early to get things ready. Unfortunately, she still felt like she was running around in the morning without enough time.
Well…after waking up 45min earlier than I usually do on a school morning, I was still running around like crazy and so behind!!! Car selfie for first day of school is what I got.”
She added that all six of her girls were ready to embrace the day. There were no tears anywhere. Well, with the exception of the ones a very happy mother shed as she watched her big girls walk away!
She continued: “HAPPY FIRST DAY OF 5th & 1st Grade!!! Girls were all excited and no tears, accept the few that appeared in Mama’s eyes as they walked out the car…with those big ol backpacks.”
Danielle Busby concluded her post by explaining Gus was in the picture because he managed to sneak his way into the vehicle during all the back-to-school chaos.
The Sweet Home Sextuplets mom relates to Danielle
Courtney Waldrop has significantly more children than Danielle Busby. But, the duo bond over having five and six children of the same age. Courtney Waldrop jested that she doesn’t think it matters how late she stays up or how early she gets up. There is just never enough time for her to get everything ready.
Courtney penned in response to Danielle’s Instagram post: “I totally feel you!!! Sometimes I think I could stay up all night getting things together and still be running around like crazy that morning!!”
The Sweet Home Sextuplets mother concluded by gushing about how sweet the photo was. And, she wished the girls a very happy first day back to school.
