‘Ted Lasso’s’ Awkward Sassy Reunion Preview of Next Episode on Apple+TV

The next episode of Ted Lasso for AppleTV+ features an awkward reunion between Ted, Sassy, and his boss Rebecca. The clip below captures the very moment Ted walks in and realizes his one-night stand is back in town.

The clip features Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, and Ellie Taylor and is a funny scene where Lasso learns that Sassy has a daughter, and she is the new receptionist for Rebecca.

Apple TV+ has released the sneak peek clip from episode 203 of Ted Lasso, the critically acclaimed comedy executive produced by and starring Jason Sudeikis, ahead of this Friday’s debut.

The third episode will premiere globally on Friday, August 6, exclusively on Apple TV+, followed by one new episode weekly, every Friday.

Also, in the third episode, “Do the Right-est Thing,” Rebecca (Waddingham) has a “special visitor shadow her at work. The team does not welcome a player’s return.”

Ted Lasso in season two

Lasso, an American football coach, was hired to manage a British soccer team, the twist being that he has no soccer experience.

But despite this deficit, he delivers unbridled optimism and infuses the wary team with his underdog determination…and butter biscuits.

The award-winning series also stars Hannah Waddingham, Brendan Hunt, Jeremy Swift, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Phil Dunster, and Nick Mohammed.

Sarah Niles has joined the team as Doctor Sharon, a sports psychologist who has been brought in to work with AFC Richmond.  She and Ted have a cool start to their relationship, as he loves to call her “Doc,” which drives her mad.

About Sassy

Flo Collins is back as Sassy, and she was Rebecca’s “best mate” since childhood.

Now she is a brilliant child psychologist and a recently-divorced mother to Rebecca’s goddaughter Nora. Nora is the “surprise” receptionist.

Sassy calls Rebecca “Stinky.” Still.  When AFC Richmond was playing Everton F.C., she was introduced last season, as Sassy came to Rebecca’s hotel suite, resurrecting their friendship after about six years’ separation.

During the weekend in Liverpool, she got her pal Rebecca to show off her singing voice, which AFC Richmond watched and heard during a post-victory karaoke session.

Sassy reminded Rebecca that her ex-husband was indeed a bad man and told her she hoped that Rebecca would remember who she always was.  Then, a chance encounter in a hotel lobby, she and Ted had an exchange, and that eventually led to the two of them having a romantic liaison after Ted had received his divorce papers.

Season Two of Ted Lasso, starring and co-created by Jason Sudeikis, premieres on Friday, August 6, only on AppleTV+.
