‘Counting On’ Fans DRAG Jeremy Vuolo For Latest Video

Jeremy Vuolo, TLC Counting On

Jeremy Vuolo’s recent social media post is getting some pretty strong criticisms from his followers. Counting On fans are not impressed with what the future pastor had to say.

In a new TikTok video, which he also uploaded to Instagram, Jeremy says, “Over 4,200 different religions exist in this world. Within those religions, there are tens of thousands of different groups or denominations. But really, when you boil it down, there’s actually only two… two religions. One is the religion of man’s achievements, and the other is the religion of Jesus’ achievements.”

He goes on to explain what the “two religions” are. He says, “The one says you can earn salvation or nirvana or freedom by what you do. But Jesus had a different message. See, the bible tells us, no one can be saved by keeping works of the law, but only through faith in Jesus Christ. Through faith in what Jesus Christ has done in his life, death, and resurrection.”

Then, he summarizes, mentioning again that there are only two religions.

In the caption of the video he uploaded to Instagram, he directed his followers over to @religion on TikTok. It looks like Jeremy launched this separate account with the purpose of “sharing gospel hope.” So far, he’s shared two videos on that account.

Counting On fans dislike the new video

In the comments section of the video on Instagram, fans are weighing in, and they don’t seem to like what Jeremy was preaching. One says, “This is insanely ignorant.” Another adds, “This is so laughable.”

Someone else says, “I’m so disappointed, I thought this was going to be a positive message about an interfaith community but this is literally the exact opposite.”

Even people who typically love Jeremy’s posts don’t think this is a good one. One fan writes, “….there is still time to take this down and pretend you never posted it. I usually enjoy your posts but this one is a swing and a miss…”

Despite all the backlash he’s received, the video has been up since Wednesday night. As of right now, it’s still on TikTok and Instagram.

Jeremy & Jinger Vuolo on TikTok

As we’ve reported, both Jinger and Jeremy have TikTok accounts. When Jinger made her debut a couple of months ago, she got some backlash too. Some trolls also chimed in, urging her to try the latest TikTok dances, which don’t necessarily align with her family’s values.

Jeremy shared a TikTok video to let fans know he was now using the social media platform, but that got him some criticism too. He and Jinger have gotten some backlash for their latest ventures, including their podcast, hat and candle shop, and book. Critics thought that TikTok was another way for Jeremy and Jinger to continue pushing their products.

  1. He is absolutely correct. Man fell in the garden. He needed a way back to God. Jesus Christ satisfied the judicial requirements necessary for the reconciliation between God and man. It does require for each person to ask for and receive that from Jesus. Romans 10:9 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.” The reason he says there are only two ways is you either come to Jesus or don’t. If there is one road to God, all other ways are “not roads”, it doesn’t matter if there are a million variations. So either you are born again or you are not born again. That is the question. That is the two pathways. He is right.
