Since Josh Duggar’s arrest a few months ago, his wife Anna has been staying silent. She hasn’t made a public statement. or posted on social media. Counting On fans believe she’s taking care of her kids and focusing on navigating this difficult time.
For those who don’t know, Josh was arrested for the possession of child sexual abuse material. He is maintaining his innocence and is waiting for his trial in November. In the meantime, he’s living with his court-appointed guardians, the Rebers. He was released on a set of conditions, which include staying away from minors and wearing a GPS tracking device, among other rules.
Anna has reportedly been spending time with her husband at the Rebers’ home, but we haven’t heard anything directly from her. Now, it looks like Duggar cousin Amy King is ready for Anna to speak up.
Amy King encourages Anna Duggar to tell her story
In a new Instagram post, Amy shared a photo of a quote she found online. It reads:
“One day you will tell your story of how you’ve overcome what you’re going through now, and it will become part of someone else’s survival guide.”
In the caption, she writes, “Life is full of ups and downs . Really high-highs and really low-lows timetimes. And it’s during those scary, uncertain valley moments that people are watching your every move. It’s like a spot light is shining down on you. When your life is falling apart it is in that moment where you can be a light.”
She ends her post by saying, “Your story and your strength matters. #neverloseyourvoice”
While Amy doesn’t mention Anna by name, it’s safe to say that this post could be directed at her. Since Josh was arrested, Amy has been sharing messages on social media that seemingly shade her cousin and offer advice to his wife.
In another post, she previously told Anna to pack her bags and leave Josh.
Right now, Anna isn’t posting anything on social media. She hasn’t shared a new post since before Josh’s arrest. So, it’s unclear if she will even see this message from Amy. When she does, maybe she will open up about this experience and use her struggles to help others, as Amy suggested.
So, do you think this message was directed at Anna Duggar? Do you feel that Anna will eventually speak up, or do you think she will stay silent? Let us know in the comments below.
