He may not be everyone’s favorite member of Bachelor Nation but he doesn’t care! Nick Viall shared some dating advice with his Instagram followers – even though he has hit some tough spots with love.

Bachelor and Bachelorette alum, Nick Viall, shared some dating advice with his followers on Instagram. While it was a nice thought, it seems he may not have the most room to talk when it comes to dating advice. In fact, he’s had quite a few breakups over the years.
Nick decided to participate in Questions with Nick on his Instagram ScreenRant reveals.
During this time, he answers questions fans ask him. This time, he was asked ‘how to not bring past insecurities into their new relationship.’
He had a decent answer in saying the followers need to accept that there are issues from the past and those need to be talked about with a partner.
“You just have to communicate them to your partner,” Nick Viall says.
He continues by saying: “They have to be willing to help you. You have to be willing to acknowledge that when they are triggered in the new relationship to talk through it before you react to it,” he finishes.
Another follower says that “her current boyfriend’s best friend, who was a girl, didn’t want to meet her because she used to have feelings” ScreenRant reports.
Nick was sure to tell the follower that her boyfriend needs to deal with the issues that he has caused. He also says every relationship is different and there shouldn’t be a fear of bringing up things that have happened in the past, after all, it can help you get to know a person.
Nick’s opinions on crushes
Finally, ScreenRant reports that Nick says that people cannot keep old crushes in their lives. He says it is “not healthy to keep former loves or crushes in your life,” the website says.
Overall it sounds like it was a pretty interesting Questions with Nick. Fans actually seem pleasantly surprised by how well Nick answered some of the questions that came through his story. Perhaps he is finally learning the ins and outs of a good relationship! Only time can really tell on that one though.
Currently, he is dating Natalie Joy so it seems things are looking up!
