Jana Duggar‘s Wedding Registry Surfaces: Stephen Wissmann Proposed?
Jana Duggar‘s wedding registry has surfaced and many are wondering if this means Stephen Wissmann proposed? As we previously reported, Reddit gets credit for leaking Stephen Wissmann and Jana Duggar‘s wedding registry. The question remains, however, is it real or fake? Is Jana Duggar really preparing to leave Michelle and Jim Bob’s house for good? Or, is there just a troll somewhere getting a good chuckle out of people discussing a nonexistent wedding because of a fake wedding registry?
Wait, are these two actually courting?
Now, it is important to know that Jana Duggar and Stephen Wissmann have not officially announced their courtship to the world. So, we can’t even say with 100 percent certainty that this courtship is even happening. But, the duo have been spotted together a handful of times.
It wasn’t that long ago that Jana Duggar took to Instagram to more or less confirm she was single. But, some believed the post also hinted that she was ready to mingle. Check out the photo from the Instagram post down below.

It was 49 weeks ago in August of 202 that Jana Duggar posted the photo above to her Instagram. Fans assumed this was her way of insisting she was very much single. Fans also speculated this was her way of telling the world she was ready to find her special someone.
This bodes the question: If Jana was so open about announcing her relationship status and her readiness to date… Why is she being so secretive about her budding romance with Stephen Wissmann?
Unfortunately, there isn’t a clear answer to that question either. But, we know the entire Duggar family mostly stepped out of the spotlight following Josh Duggar’s arrest. We also know Counting On got canceled by TLC. So, it is possible Jana Duggar is detoxing from social media. Perhaps she just doesn’t want to be associated with her brother’s scandal. Likewise, it is also possible she’s just enjoying living a more private life now that the show has been canceled.

Is Jana Duggar’s wedding registry on Zola real or fake? That is the question people are hoping to get answered. Unfortunately, after doing a little sleuthing around Reddit… We believe this is a fake wedding registry created by a troll to make people think Stephen Wissmann proposed to Jana. Why do we think the wedding registry is fake?
First, let’s take a look at the screenshot of the wedding registry for Jana Duggar and Stephen Wissmann down below.
This screenshot was shared on a Reddit thread a few days ago. Notice something a little off about it though? If not, go back and take a closer look. There’s a mistake in the screenshot and it is easy to miss if you aren’t looking for it. Stephen’s last name is spelled wrong.
Duggar snarks on Reddit noticed the spelling error too. They speculated a social media influencer who makes income from viewers might’ve created the wedding registry hoping the Duggar snarks would find it allowing a story to be spun on the possibility of a Jana Duggar and Stephen Wissmann wedding.
Now, this is where things get a little “sus” as the Duggar snarks described it. Take a look at the screenshot below.
Turns out, the wedding registry was updated on Zola. Some fans speculated they updated the wedding registry to make it a little harder to find. The change to the wedding registry did not happen until AFTER Reddit users pointed out the spelling mistake in Stephen Wissmann’s name.
So, the assumption is whatever troll made Jana Duggar’s wedding registry updated it in a way that made it look as though they were hoping for more privacy. In reality, they were just hoping too many people didn’t catch the spelling mistake.
Notice that once the wedding registry was updated with their first names removed, Stephen Wissmann’s last name was corrected to be spelled properly.
