Waldrop Family Gains New Member, Courtney & Eric Adopt An Orphan: See Photos
The family of Courtney and Eric Waldrop gained a new member about a week ago after the former TLC stars made the decision to adopt an orphan. Just an hour ago, Courtney took to Instagram to reveal the Waldrop family grew a little bigger recently. Her announcement came attached to a few very sweet photos featuring Blu holding the newest addition to the Waldrop family.

According to Courtney, someone left this adorable little guy on their doorstep. So, they were left with two options. They could either find a home for the poor little orphan. Or, they could adopt him into their family.
“So it was either find him a home or add another baby to the family!! I’m sure you all can guess what we did.” Courtney explained in the caption of her Instagram post.
The former TLC mother proceeds to reveal Blu has already fallen in love with the newest member of the Waldrop family. They, however, haven’t decided on a name for the little guy just yet.

Turns out, the orphan abandoned on their doorstep that they decided to keep is actually an orange kitten. Presently, they are calling him kitty. But, she hopes her Instagram followers can suggest a nice name for him.
Courtney Waldrop admits their family has always been a dog family. They’ve never actually had cats before. So, this would be a new venture for everyone. But, Blu was already in love with the little guy.

He’s been with our crazy bunch now for about a week and hasn’t ran for the hills yet so I think he likes us and likes being toted around everywhere by the sextuplets!!”
Fans were quick to offer name suggests to Courtney Waldrop
Courtney Waldrop concluded her Instagram post by asking fans for name suggestions for the newest member of their family. Sweet Home Sextuplets fans were happy to offer suggestions. Some of the names that popped into the comment included:
- Berry
- Jasper
- Tigger
- Cheese
- Cider
- Pumpkin
