The family actually appears to be trying to avoid the spotlight. Considering what Josh Duggar has been charged with… No one can really blame the rest of the family for running away from the spotlight.

Now, however, they seem to be much more interested in privacy. Take Jinger and Jeremy, for example, they’ve decided to pull their children off social media completely. And, their cousin Amy? Well, she’s trying a lot harder to be careful with what she posts of her son.
As we previously reported, this sudden shift in family dynamics seems to be playing a role in the announcement of courtships and weddings as well. Duggar fans have been discussing the courtship of Jana Duggar and Stephen Wissmann for a while now. This is not a relationship anyone in the Duggar family has confirmed… But, fans have seen tons of photo proof that this courtship is happening. So, the question remains, why is it such a big secret?

As those who follow Jana know, she’s a member of the family with a pretty healthy following. Fans really love her.
Now, these fans are not too happy with Jana suddenly deciding to be private and secretive. In fact, the last time she posted anything on her Instagram profile was three weeks ago.
Jana Duggar and Stephen Wissmann have been spotted hanging out and spending time together on more than one occasion. Fans are convinced this courtship is happening. And, they are frustrating she won’t just confirm it on social media.
