Lauren Burnham, Arie Luyendyk Jr. Ask Fans To Pray For Twin Daughter
Former Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr. and wife Lauren Burnham welcomed twins into the world. Lauren made it to 37 weeks before going into labor with their son and daughter. Lauren endured a c-section to welcome their babies. Following the c-section, it appeared things were great. However, Lauren and Arie shared a scary piece of news with fans about their new daughter. What’s going on?

Yesterday, Lauren went to Instagram to share a few photos with fans of the twins. One photo revealed that she was being discharged from the hospital. However, her next picture shared that their daughter had to remain in the hospital for a bit. Lauren noted how heartbreaking it was to leave her there as they took her brother home.
Neither Arie nor Lauren shared what exactly was going on with their baby girl. However, today, Arie shared photos of the two babies individually. One showed their son being monitored. He noted he only had to spend a few hours in the NICU. Their daughter needed a bit more care. Arie shared a photo of his and Lauren’s daughter. He shared she needed some oxygen at first. However, Arie was happy to report their daughter is doing much better. No word yet on when she will get to join her family at home.
Lauren and Arie have not released details about their babies just yet. No weights, lengths, or names have been shared with fans. Perhaps that information will come once their daughter joins them at home.

While Lauren and Arie are asking for prayers for their daughter, they also shared an adorable photo of Alessi with her new brother.
Her pregnancy
Lauren and Arie revealed her pregnancy towards the end of 2020. It was shortly after their initial pregnancy announcement they shared Lauren was carrying twins. They were ecstatic to learn they would be welcoming a boy and a girl in June 2021.
Lauren has had a fairly easy pregnancy overall. In fact, she admitted her twin pregnancy was easier than her pregnancy with Alessi. Her goal was to make it to at least 36 weeks carrying the twins. She did it and more!
