Where’s Lilah Roloff’s Glasses? Mommy Tori Clears Confusion
Little Lilah Roloff debuted her glasses a few months ago, and fans think she looks adorable wearing them. But in a recent set of photos that Tori Roloff shared, Lilah isn’t wearing her glasses. So, why isn’t the little one wearing them?
Why does Lilah Roloff wear glasses?
In October, the family talked about Lilah’s strabismus diagnosis. In an Instagram post in the fall, Tori wrote, “Sweet girl has what’s called strabismus. Basically she’s crossed eyed. 🤗 She’s had it since birth and we’ve always joked that she’s our crossed eyed beauty queen 👑! Turns out… it’s a legit thing. Lilah’s vision is actually better than 20/20 (not sure how they can tell on an infant?!) but we’re trying glasses to hopefully fix her lazy eye and avoid surgery!!”
Now, Lilah has worn both glasses and an eye patch to work on correcting it. Fortunately, because the family has started treating the condition while she is still young, she may not end up needing surgery. We will have to wait and see what happens.
What happened to the Little People, Big World star’s glasses?
In recent photos Tori shares on social media, Lilah is wearing glasses. So, when she shared a new post on Instagram this weekend, fans were quick to notice that they are missing. On Sunday evening, she shared two photos of Lilah sitting in a field of flowers. The sweet girl is wearing a striped dress and has a bow on her head.
Along with the photos, Tori shared a beautiful message:
“The sparrow’s not worried ’bout tomorrow
Or the troubles to come
The lily’s not thinking ’bout the seasons
The drought or the flood
A tree that’s planted by the water
Isn’t fazed by the fire
So why should I be?”
In the comments, a fan asked, “Does she not have to wear her glasses? Not sure if I missed something?” So, Tori responded, “They’re currently being repaired…toddlers and glasses are a struggle.” Then, she adds, “Luckily she doesn’t need them to see.”
Hopefully, Lilah’s glasses will be ready soon so they can keep working on correcting her strabismus. Most of the other comments on the post are about how adorable Lilah is. Little People, Big World fans love getting to see new photos of the kids.
